Default pull money out of bank to spend

cannot be bothered to get debit card for this old bank account for an old business address that no longer exists, paperless statements anyway, and I want rid and close it, kinda forgot about it, it has just been sitting around, with a few hundred in it, cannot do bank transfers as need card reader etc and dont have all that, so thought I can just add it to paypal, add bank and pull money out of it, eg spend it. I have access to online monthly statement, so can see the code when added to paypal.

do I need to add a vcc? or will it let me just add bank? then will payments go by e-cheque etc....how do I go for bank option with a payment.

few options;
add to existing paypal that has a card but no bank, and remove the card.
or
make completely new paypal and add bank only.

cannot remember or have not done it this way before, gonna be a one-off thing anyway, so need advice.

Missed seeing this thread oompa - I figure you should make a stealth pp and add a bank account. Then you can verify it and use the bank account for purchases.

Or order cheques from the bank and use that way.

I think maybe because in your OP, your started with 'cannot be bothered' so I presume other members here couldn't be bothered to reply.

Just a theory

OK. Add a vcc for cheap (just to make sure, small money loss), add bank then withdraw.

If you have more than £650 to withdraw, then you need to confirm bank.

If you got more than £1800 odd to withdraw you will need to send pp docs.

Check the pp limits and you will be able to work out what you need to do.

Hope that helps

oven are you talking about withdrawing from paypal? I was talking about spending money from the bank, to drain the bank - not withdrawing from paypal, I know how to do that......

yeh rsot, I never paid by bank to spend stuff, so wondered how you bypass the card, suppose if it is empty or expired it, then switches to bank - but I do not know for sure without trying it....

wondering if there are spending (not sending) limits, eg if you wanted to make alot of very highend purchases...

you are both obviously just kept here for your good looks.............you and rsot -the perfumed gigolos.....

Just add bank only no vcc because it will default to vcc if you add it and just buy with echeck. After a few cleared echecks then your good.

Im pretty sure you can set your preferences so that your bank account is your primary payment method.

Have a look in the settings of one of your current paypal accounts to see if the option exists.

consider this ....why not add two direct debits to the old bank account. go to smile and ask them to transfer old account to a new smile with the 2 direct debits If the old bank is in the transfer scheme then smile will give you £100 and £25 ti charity to transfer to them once a payment of £850 or similar has been paid in from a not your account into new smile you get your £100. Go back to the old bank and open another account with them
