How were you planning to pay the fees for the eb sales then if you have no funds anywhere?

I would have said to buy a gift cc or vcc - load it with the amount you need and pay the ebay fees....but it seems like you have no $?

Pay using a entropay vcc.

Dont let them try and take it from your bank.

i normally pay by paypal but am on holiday so always clear everything out of my accounts bar a small amount for refunds, just incase anything goes wrong while im away.

I think the auto payment will be in 2 days and it will should just decline then ebay will ask to be paid again, by which stage ill be back in uk

If there are no funds in the account they'll try to get it from the bank account.
If there are no funds in the bank account and that payment is declined the bank account will be removed from your paypal account and theres a good chance the account itself wil get limited.
At least that's how it would go with a US account.

Remove your bank account as a funding source, if the box is checked off next to your bank account uncheck that and just use your VCC as funding source

You will need to go into ypur paypal settings to get to funding sources..

Once the bank account is no longer a funding source than paypal will never go into your bank account i have tested this over and over with US paypal accounts.

Normally when i add my bank acount to paypal i always uncheck it as a funding source so theres never an issue of paypal accessing my account

I think UK paypal has this option as well

Csn you be sure you will not get stung with overdraft fees?

When Paypal take funds from the bank account they can see the real name attached to it.

I've been in this sort of situation twice before and both times I've removed my bank account so that they can't take payment and a week or so later I've put my bank account back up again.

I don't know how good it is and I wouldn't do it every month, but it has helped me out on those couple of occasions and I've not had any problems.

BUT, try to pay it with VCC- Hassle free. Just load up your card and choose it as payment method. Nothing wrong with that.

I've always had a direct debit set up for all my 30-40 accounts and never had any issues. This is slightly worrying.

The transactions are not processed manually, but if their was ever a manual review of your account they would than see the name of the bank account is different than paypal and if they checked the name u could also be linked to a suspended account

So its always good to avoid giving any information that can come back and bite u months or years later
