Proof that Ebay staff are incompetent people who don't care about their customers
So my account was suspended a couple of weeks ago.
I did the whole ‘sending them my name and address..details’ by post, to confirm who I am, and to get my account reinstated.
Yesterday I got an email from ebay. Obviously in response to my letter. Surprise surprise, an automated one.

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due to the violation of our site policy below:
[ATTN SUPPORT REP! insert text here!]
Due to the suspension of this account, you are prohibited from using our system in any way, which includes registering under a new account name.
Please note that any seller fees due to eBay will immediately become due and payable. eBay will charge any amounts you have not previously disputed to the billing method currently on file.

If the fact that the response was automated, wasn’t bad enough! The useless cretin dealing with my case couldn’t even be botherd to fill out the section where he/she is suposed to give a reason!
