If it is for non shipment..you must provide ccnow a tracking number in 3 days. For "not as described" issues...ccnow will notify you of the dispute and you tell them that you gave the return instructions to the customer.
I never give the customer return instructions if there is no good reason in my mind for the return. This will remain open until Paypal eventually decides in ccnow's favor. In the meantime you will get periodic emails from ccnow about giving return instructions or asking the buyer to drop the claim at Paypal. The money will be held up by ccnow until Paypal drops the issue (usually in about 45 days). I have never lost an item not as described case.
I have, however, sent tracking info late and lost those cases.
