3 weeks ago I bought an item from a website (not ebay) and used Paypal to checkout (balance in the account, not credit card) .
However it's not received, I contacted the seller and no response.
So I opened a case in PayPal.
FYI it's a bike around $1000 inc. shipping.
My questions is:
If the seller does not respond to the case and have no money in their Paypal account, can I get my money back?? I'm not sure if there's any hold with the money as it's not via eBay.

paypal changed the 'program'.
If you sign into your account and look for buyer's protection, you will see paypal has it split the info to ebay & off ebay.
Just a quick piece of advice: WATCH the TIME FRAME. Do not let it go anywhere near the 45 days to deal with the issue.
