Is this the end of it?!
Bitcoin fee became 40$, so you need to pay 80$ just for the fee if you want to buy something with it.... nobody wish to improve the network because the miners earn so much $ from that huge fee.

Yet again with this nonsense from you.
Anyone else recall the 'Bitcoin to the moon' cheers from you a month or two ago?
Which is the current crypto of the week?
People who do not have the stomach for the volatility of bitcoin should stay away from it.
Ive been invested it since before it reached $1000. Unless it goes down to THAT level Im not going to worry about it. All indications point to this being a normal, healthy and quite necessary correction. You cannot have Bitcoin go from $6k on November 13th to $20k a month later and not see any sort of correction.
What drives me nuts is people forget that only 2-3 months ago they were pining for it to reach $8-9k and now that its sitting at $13k theyre whining about it.
Get over yourself. Either youre in or youre out - if you cant take the heat get out the kitchen!
Lets talk again at the end of 2018 - one year from now - when it surpasses $50k

personally i wouldnt be surprised if this thing goes back down to $1000-2000. The fees....the liquidity of it. It just dont make sense. I have some of it and etherium but by no means am i invested like some people i know. It might make up .05% of my portfolio.
As i said in the other thread. I think this will be the mortgage crash an then some...Big firms investing in it....You will see peoples whole retirements vanish in thin air!

It has nowhere near the market share that the real estate markets had back in 2008.
And I find it highly unlikely that it will go down to those levels.
But you and Jamie Dimon both seem to be smoking the same pipe.
Like I said - lets talk next year at the end of 2018. Let see then what the price level is.

If the price of Bitcoin is to reach anywhere near 100k I dont see it happening with 10 cent transactions. Ever heard the saying you get what you pay for? I think that may apply here.
If you want to see if Bitcoin is over go to a chart and pan out all the way to the Silk Road crash and the Mt. Gox crash. When those crashes happened people thought it was over. Those little dips on the cart just look like a regular day of trading now. Fast forward 10 years from now this dip will look the same. Just a little tiny dip you can hardly see.

But the topic is bitcoin
Not a boost of your post count.
With the Bobsey twins burbling, bit difficult to get a reasonable conversation going.

Like I said - lets talk next year at the end of 2018. Let see then what the price level is. | If you combine all cryptos. Im sure the market share is way HIGHER than the people and companines betting on sub prime mortgage in the early and middle 2000s.
Yeah J. Dimon and I might be dabbing on this ultra clear piss looking shatter but i know i own real estate, stocks, bonds, cds, long term investment.....and some cryptos.
Just like in 2008 when this bubble busts.....You will see people like me buy more investmests for cheap and get richer

Bitcoin is a worldwide phenomenon. It's not a bunch of bankers and investors trading securities. The market cap of Bank of America by itself was $500 billion in 2006 before the crash from $400 billion to $100 billion in 2008. We are seeing corrections, but we are still early into this. We crashed by 30% last week and are still recovering but if the market can make it back to $600 billion in a week, we'll be ok. Most of these ICOs and coins are BS though, so I'm a little worried that people are throwing money at nothing, but I have no idea where this is heading.

No doubt there will be corrections, but I see bitcoin securing at least a $1 to $2 trillion dollar market cap (roughly 4 to 8x its current value).

Even with BTC fully mined (21 million BTC) a $2t market cap would require BTC to cross $100k USD/each. All these new BTC forks (BTC Uranium, BTC Platinum, BTC Gold, BTC Silver, etc)(not even mentioning other alts) take away market share and, in general, erode investor confidence (that's certainly the impact it's had on me).
IDK. We'll see where it goes, haha.

IDK. We'll see where it goes, haha. | You're absolutely right about the forks. But one thing has come to fruition, and that is none of the forks have actually held up. Bitcoin cash is the only one that's gained somewhat traction, but its longevity is debatable. The rest seem like history.
From an investment point of view, any forks, you usually get an equal amount of anyway. So either way, if the combined cap hits $1 to $2 trillion, you've made your ROI.

As long as its difficult to buy alt-coins per standard mainstream user bitcoin will remain king. Most people I talk to about bitcoin know of it and want to invest in it, however when I go into alt coins they didn't even know they existed or how it works. Coinbase is going to be key at the moment on where mainstream investors go.
It took me over a week to buy ripple. I couldn't get approved or most sites temporarily suspended buying ripple. I kept at it, going through many exchanges until I found a way through crypto groups. The average person will not go hours on end to figure it out.
