 Ebay seller verification
Hello everyone, I am in need of a way to verify my Ebay account to a seller account.
I'm in Ontario, Canada for reference.
I bought a Telus Prepaid phone for the phone verification.
For the credit card verification, we have these options in Canada:
- RBC bank visa gift card
- Vanilla Mastercard
- MyTreat Visa Gift card
- Solo Mobile Gift Card
(In stores)
I've tried the Vanilla Mastercard about a week ago and it failed. Gave me the error like 'you are unable to use prepaid cards' etc.
I have 1 of the RBC visa gift cards, but I registered it online (this was before I made the ebay) to my real name and not my ebay name. So I wasn't able to try one. The only problem is that they have a REALLY bad communication, so apparently when I call the RBC corporate they tell me you DO NOT NEED TO PROVIDE ID to get a gift card. When I call the branch, they tell me They DO need ID. I managed to get one with a new employee, then I tried again and I had to get ID'd.
Does anyone know if the MyTreat, or RBC work online for ebay verification (with entering the AVS details on the registration site)?
Or are there any other online virtual credit cards which let me enter a custom AVS (for Canada) which is completely virtual?
