Good question. Does paypal get access to any databases to verify the number of ID/PASSPORT/DL provided?
I've used corrected in PS passport scan to lift EU limits on my Lithuanian stealth account and it worked fine. It seems to depend on a country i guess.

Reason: spam-list word
Personally I have verified accounts because using PS passport and I have not had a problem. Though like the user above said, it might depend on which country it is.

Yes I talked with few guys yesterday about this.
It seems it depends indeed on which country.
Worked so far for many..
I was wondering if any knows if paypal / ebay have any access to dvla or other service to verify the driving licence details submitted.
Thanks for your help
If they did have access to dvla database and or other government issued ID ( eg,passport ) you would not be posting in this forum because there would be no stealth accounts to talk about,

a computer system software that is similar to dvla's which creates a code using your surname (i think)
the one paypal will use is to verify that code created (dvla number)
a bit like a key code generator
I'm not 100% sure though as i just assume
They dont for sure with 1 EU passport i open 4 PayPal and E bay if they have any kind of system at all they will see that the name is the same the date of Burt the only think i change was the Country nothing else.
And it is much easy to open and work with PayPal from Any Europe country.

UK they 100% do not have access to passport details ... not sure about dvla as i can't find a calculator to ensure the algorithms are correct so i don't send PS ones in though i have a good template. They don't have dvla access either because data protection means they would need your permission
for passport details use emzlabs mrz calculator (google it)
