 Is there a search tutorial...?
I've been a member here for years, and tried (many times) to use the search for fear of asking a question that's been asked before. But as much as I use Google and other search things online, this one has always confused me a bit.
Is there a basic breakdown or overview of how it works? Like a "search overview for dummies"...? I know that if I'm having a hard time figuring it out, there must be a few other regulars that are having trouble too, and some (especially the new people) that aren't even going to make an effort to figure it out.
What I've been doing (for years, actually) is to pretend I'm going to post a question and before I submit it, looking at all the similar threads suggested to me before I submit my question, and going from those posts...
Anyway, I just thought I'd ask, because by now I'm sure there are other regulars that don't quite understand it either. Maybe there's something to type into Google like /google/.... aspikin.com/how do I "X"... or something? So far I haven't found much success using the search, and I promise I've tried. Thanks in advance.
