Today I received the suspension for the reason Price Gouging, here is their email:
Quote:
We are contacting you because you have engaged in price gouging in violation of the Amazon Marketplace Fair Pricing Policy (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/...TUVJKZHUVMN77V). We expect sellers to treat our customers fairly and not take advantage of events like the global health crisis arising from the COVID-19 coronavirus.
As a result, your selling account has been suspended, and your listings have been removed from our site.
Please ship any open orders. If you have any funds in your account, they will be available after any amounts paid for A-to-z claims or chargebacks on your orders have been deducted. This usually takes about 90 days, but funds may be held longer.
If you would like Amazon to consider lifting this suspension, please send us a plan that explains how you will address this problem and includes the following:
-- The steps you have taken to comply with the Marketplace Fair Pricing Policy on all ASINs you offer.
-- The steps you will periodically take to ensure that similar issues will not repeat.
-- Any additional details you would like us to know.
Who else received this kinda suspension, what actions have you take? Did someone reinstate the account?
I didn't sell anything related to Covid 19, they removed my selling privileges because of replacement filters for the vacuum machine whose price was not changed from the beginning of the listing.
Your help will be appreciated.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
normally you can call them but since their phone support is off, you'll just have to give them exactly what they are asking for.
I'd say just tell them that you weren't price gouging, the prices are fair in comparison the the market prices, but to stay out of trouble, you'll take the asin down so this doesn't happen anymore.
You can provide links to the countless other threads on the amazon discussion boards of similar suspensions (amazon discussion forums, not aspkin :x)
As long as you weren't actually price gouging a proper appeal addressing the issue and demonstrating you were wrongfully suspended should get you reinstated
Amazons phone support isnt off. They still have that department ,they just made it harder to be found.I called seller support the other day,got to them from the options menu.
