2xTrademark Violation + 1xCopyright Violation + 2xDuplicate Listing Violation.No Ban?

So as the title states, in the 6 months I started with eBay I have

2xTrademark violation
2xDuplicate violation (accident)
1xCopyright violation

I make the product myself using google images and probably have 2000 listings on this account. Its probably the image owners found their images and reported it to eBay or something.

Shouldn't I have been banned by now? I have not receive a suspension yet, not a ban or anything. Account is in good standing with 1500 feedback at 99.7% and TRS in the global region.

In the process of setting up a stealth as I personally don't think this account has a long life left..

They will only 'look' at the duplicate but not count it.

Ban hammer is looming.

If possible, spell the account for at least 90 days.

What do you mean by "spell the account"?

The first trademark violation was at the beginning of this year and the second one was about a few months ago, and copyright violation was this week. Since it is spread out and probably 90 days apart from each other does that lower the chances of being suspended?

My seller dashboard is 4.9 average for almost all (with 5.0 being the other) and top rated status, above standard (depending on country) as well as bronze powerseller status (think I get silver this month if I survive).

Including variations for listings the total amount of listings is over 15,000 items. So does eBay take into account the volume of items listed and not ban you over 2 items?

Also I've read the stealth guide and it says that trademark violation and take many hits as the author states that he knows someone that took 12 hits in a month and still didnt get suspended. Does that apply to me or not?

GB meant that you should let the account rest for 90 days. And let those violations expire.

Hop on the phone with them talk to an account specialist and get to the bottom of it, unless it's a stealth account, then just make sure your not copying other peoples pictures, descriptions etc, Ive watched other TRS drop like flies for this stuff

Yes, I would make a stealth but be very VERY careful. If you link yourself, you'll most surely kill your questionable account.

Violations NEVER expire, despite what ebay claim. They are ALWAYS visible to ebay.

I would say your account is one more violation away from getting canned. It might happen even without further violations. All it could take is an INAD case from a buyer that leads to an account review.

Start creating stealth accounts asap.

I would also ignore any advice to phone up and speak to someone about it. That just might be drawing the attention to your account that you don't need.

Keep in mind the game has changed in recent years. Violations, supensions are much more common.


TRS sellers are getting axed.

You can not AND you should not operate thinking you are 'safe' with ebay.

I know of a UK account that had supposed lapsed violations. Fully 13 months after the last one, the account got banned. Not one single thing had happened poorly in that time. A buyer complained.

The account was binned.

Avoid that for yourself.

Well anyways, I'm not going to add anything to this account since you guys says its doomed or what not and proceeded to started to stealth. I have accumulated most of the resources I got and followed the guide in order to stay stealth as much as possible. One thing that is concerning me is finding a usable address. I obviously won't use the one I live in now since it will instantly link me but how can I go about into obtaining an address. Using a virtual address seems expensive in Australia and I've halted all contacts with my family and all my close friends all have an eBay account already which they use to sell/purchase.

Can I just make up an address and say I live in it (like a real address but its not going to be me living it and its someone I don't know who will be living in it)? Am I able to use my wife's workplace as a real address though never intend to use it?

I see P.O Box as a suggestion but the guide states that eBay frowns upon PO Box address so I guess that rules it out.

I have noticed lately a lot more of these infringing violations coming at my accounts. Funny thing is I get 7 day selling bans, sometimes 30 but nothing too detrimental. I just can't list new stuff. GTC still auto renew.

I got limited this month as well. I message eBay and told me that I'm only allowed to sell 50,000,000 items.. and allowed to make only $500,000,000..
