I moved into a bigger house and my previous router kept dropping the wi-fi the further i went. I've got a Nighthawk X4S which spreads the wi-fi out better.
Can I safely connect to amazon using my connection using my new access point? Or will they see what router my nighthawk is connected to?

Router is given an address from an IP (Internet Provider), and then it can "share" the connection, assigning static or dynamic LAN (Local Area Network) IP addresses to each device via DHCP.
Unless you changed your IP (DSL / cable provider), the access point will have the same IP address when connecting to the internet as before.

Re: Routers / Internet access
new IP address means you can use it
But if you never tracked the IP then you won't really know if you previously used the IP
