AMan for Amazon

i was just checking out Aman. anyone have experience and can you change id's when you get shut down?

I see that a 21 day trial can be download, can you just use a trial every time u get shut down?

MadSam 10-03-2010 12:08 PM

Do not use the same ID on it twice, banned or not it's against their policy to have more than one seller account and they will shut you down in a light second. It's similar to eBay TurboLister, only if you're a real expert at identifying the trails it leaves behind on your computer should you use it again. Or of course wipe over, install it again and start over.

It's good. You have to use it though, other wise it's a waste.

I was thinking of setting up another pro acct. as needed, fresh os insall, with spoofed macs. Then fresh Aman trial. My thought is being able to get an inventory list to upload and not have to worry about ip's as aman does the upload? is this correct?

As par as payments, does Aman connect and download payments that can be withdrawn? other wise I can just tun & burn and log in carefully on the 91 st day!

My thought was that Aman would make it convenient to upload inventory directly to your acct. instead of having to log in manually. And if it tracks your sales, downloads your sales, allows you to confirm and print orders then it's great for turn and burn without having to worry about ips. Does Aman use your ip? or is it like inkfrog where it acts like a proxy ?

MadSam 10-03-2010 09:13 PM

Aman uploads the inventory from your IP address, so no don't forget about IP. No you can't access payments from Aman.

VPN's are NOT a good idea. Amazon (and eBay) know the IP address ranges of many VPN providers and they routinely block them.

Amazon is far more advanced than eBay. They can see the computer MAC addresses, Machine Name and they even employ browser fingerprinting. And they are adding new methods of detection all the time.

Some say it is overkill, but I use a fresh machine for each new Amazon account. But all of the other stealth rules apply as well.

What the hell is the point of Aman then? if i still have to log on?

quick inventory upload?

MadSam 10-05-2010 02:44 PM

Yes it's for high volume sellers. I've spent literally hours having to go through each of those orders and confirm and print, can be very time consuming if you sell a lot.

newtools 10-05-2010 11:48 PM

Madsam - so u can also download, confirm and print though Aman?

but you still have to login to withdraw from your payments ?

Jeff - Vps are great! Virtual private server. basically a whole new machine.

MadSam 10-10-2010 11:12 PM

^^^Yes that's correct.

Me and a few others are TESTING VPS's at the moment. I LOVE the idea, don't get me wrong, but there could be some problems.

Just like with VPN's, Amazon and eBay could learn the IP address ranges and ban them. Also, I see users saying they are using it for several stealth accounts since most only charge $1 per month for each extra IP.

I would question the wisdom of using sequential IP addresses. I don't know if the bots will pick up on it, but they could certainly be programmed to do so. And a human reviewer could easily catch it if they suspect something:

192.121.85.123
192.121.85.124
192.121.85.125
192.121.85.126
192.121.85.127

Most VPS's are running either some version of Linux or Windows Server 2003/2008. And the vast majority of users do not use those operating systems.

There could be other issues as well that we have not thought of yet.

So while they show promise, I am not yet ready to make a full committment to them.

u can use Linux if you are more knowledgeable. They are cheaper! But you have to understand command line console to install remote. Otherwise you will pay more for windows. ubuntu or centos is fine. You can asking the hosting if they will install rdp for you! My only question is weather you can just by new ips for $1 a month and its a whole new machine when you logon or do you have to worry about nics, macs, in the cloud?
also I know 64bit win sever has pretty strict security, I wonder if you can delete cookies, i guess you can as you have to add each one manually.
I may be easier to just delete the vps and remake a new one.

I know Virtual box has a server edition, anyone try to put together here own data bank system and just install several os's. I have read a bit about buy a netblock but it can be expensive unless you buy off shore.

newtools 10-11-2010 02:09 AM

Madsam - so u can use Aman trial to upload inventory, then download, confirm and print orders, and only log back on again to withdraw payments. so you only have to worry about macs and ip one time really

MadSam 10-11-2010 09:27 AM

As above;
"Aman uploads the inventory from your IP address, so no don't forget about IP. No you can't access payments from Aman."

If you're looking for a way to forget about IPs, MACs, and all the other account stealth formalities AMan is not it. If you're looking for a more efficient and quicker way to speed up your order processing and manage your account then AMan is it.
