Default Newbie Router Question

I plan on setting up a new stealth Amazon account from my home computer. I already had a account suspended from my home computer. My question is, if I get a new router and use a new user account will I be good IP wise with my home computer?

Thanks in advance.

A new router should get you a new IP and a new user will take care of all the cookies and flash cookies..is your IP static or dynamic?

Why not reset your current router instead?

Your going need to cover up your browser fingerprints. A new user account will not entirely cover up. Google browser fingerprinting or check out Amazon Stealth.

Adam is right, there are many great instructions and methods in Amazon Ghost. It explains allot. There is allot more to know when it come to amazon. This is a great place to start.
resetting ur router and changing the mac address of your router will help, but you will have o download a new firefox in the new user account. I have actually made a new user account, and then a vmware os, and then downloaded a new firefox in the virtual os.

You can't change the MAC address of your router - these are burned into the devices (well, the only way is to hack the firmware but you won't be able to connect to the internet) and if you use a router then your ISP needs that to connect to the internet. The MAC address of the router is what Amazon can see so you're only solutions are new routers or different way of connecting to the internet - dial up, cable/dsl, etc.

madsam i'm not sure where you are and what you do but you can access yout router from the internet url: 192.168.1.1 or similar. it depends on your router. i can post a list of ip configuration address.

you then go to wireless settings. you will see your Mac address at the bottom then you can change. you can change just the last 2 numbers of the mac address and apply. then powercycle your modem and router and then you have a new ip address.

why would you need a new router?

Are we both talking about a COMBINED router and modem - because your broadband modem relies on your MAC address to give you internet service - it even states this in Amazon Ghost.

for netgear router its 192.168.120.191 brings a prompt just type "admin" on the top line
and type "password" on the 2nd line

from there click basic settings, then change your mac address, then apply, wait a few minutes, unplug your router, unplug modem, turn back on modem, wait for it to power up then plug back in router and you should have a new mac and ip,go back to netgear page to confirm mac has changes.

even if you replace the computer for each account you can save yourself 40 bucks on the router part itleast,if you dont know what your doing then a new computer is the safest way

Shogun1, thats exactly what i was talking about! it does not have to be a combine modem/ router. which your isp needs a mac in order to issue you an ip, which you can spoof with a premod, but that another dis., the router has its own make that you can change in order to force the ip to renew when you apply the change and powercycle the modem and router. you then have a new ip. you may not be able to hide from ur isp, unless you use anonymous broadband, or a premod modem but you can present a new ip to paypal, ebay, amazon for stealth and spoof your mac addresses.

netgear 192.168.1.1
192.168.1.0

I was not able to change my mac from my previous routers. But netgear is great. Pretty simple, youtube has a netgear tutorial I found, so I bought a netgear router the next day and wala.
