I expect they're going to talk to you about something and based on what's written here you haven't done anything wrong or trig hasn't done anything at all, and so you stand a good chance of getting your accounts back. Amazon sometimes changes the password randomly as a security measure, possibly just a password update call. Why not call them back on that number?
I too agree with HWGA's finding that they delete the account after the same bank or other information has been entered a certain number of times - my findings suggest that the number is far lower than 25-35 and probably closer to 7-8. Perhaps there is no hard and fast number and it could be different for everyone but I agree with that finding - the more times you enter the same blacklisted information the quicker they shut you down for good. I imagine the more records they find of you having matching information the greater risk they see you as and take more steps to lock you out, where just a few records would just be a block but still accessible. | I've only lost a few Amazon accounts. But these were both on VPS's. I'm certain that Amazon did what they did for a valid reason, but I don't know what it is. Anyway, I emailed them. I'll call if necessary, but I'll wait a day or two. I'm playing this off like I am just confused about a password issue.

I wasn't aware that you could use a suspended bank account more than once. Wow Here We Go Again 75 amazon accounts with the same bank info?
So amazon is calling people now?

So amazon is calling people now? | After the accounts is banned doesn't matter what bank you put, I've used the same bank on all my banned amazon accounts probably over 50-100 by now

My mistake. I know you can use (as I have) same bank info for suspended account. I thought he meant while registering new account that he was using a previously suspended account.

Not mentioned you want to get blocked by add old bank

Please look at my post about the 3 states of a Amazon account: http://www.aspkin.com/forums/amazon/...tml#post138171
All of my Amazon accounts get a bank account number AFTER they get blocked.

I don't think the accounts are blocked, because Amazon does not lock you out, they just block your ability to list and sell.
Is anyone else experiencing this? | Thay still sent you email with a link to reset the password, but not for me.
When I clicked on "Forgot Your Password" and fill email to request, have a notice:
" You account has been inactive for too long. Please contact us for additional steps and to verify your identity"
What happened??? :(

It happened to me on one account with VVC. All other accounts using VCCs have at least $10.00 balance.
I think they may have tried to do a $1.00 charge and was rejected, so they deleted my account.
I have many accounts, only one suspended and one deleted. Sad. I had over $100.00 on this one.

I have not received any of the 12K that Amazon is holding from me.
I am waiting until the 6 month mark then I will start up with them again.

They do not delete because something was related. They delete accounts because we are selling high risk items.
My accounts are absolutely non-related, locations, computer, internet provider, phone number, CC, bank, everything was new and unrelated.
I wrote a checklist and double checked point by point but not. Most of my accounts, one deleted.
I guess from now on we will have to wait to the first disbursement and start withdrawing on a daily basis. Beyond this step, I will have to be careful not to go over the limits and a touch of good luck!!!
Good luck to everyone.

That is rough to hear HWGA but don't wait 6 months - wait 60 days or 90 days tops and keep pushing.

Amazon still doing the same. I had a few new accounts up that I all did using Stealth. Changed IP address, name and information, changed mac address, and used vmware. Didn't even list anything for sell. Just set up for payments. Days later I went to check on them and got the incorrect password routine.
IMO Amazon shuts down accounts for way more reasons than ebay. The other day I used all new information and created accounts on 2 brand new ipads that I had bought. I had a new router and modem. 1 of them was suspended within minutes. The other is fine. Blows me away. I don't even use Amazon much right now. Doing fine just with ebay. Still would like to get that Amazon money more often.
