A general rule I've noticed
1 mil = 1 sale every 1-3 months
500,000 = 1 sale every month
200,000 = 1 sale per 3 weeks
100,000 = 1 per 2 weeks
50,000 = 1 per week
25,000 = 2-3 per week
10,000 = 5 per week
5,000 = 5-10 per week
1,000 + = flys off shelves
This is assuming you are in the top lowest prices and have favorable feedback (better than others) Keep in mind that the rankings fluctuate daily and with season, i've seen items that are 500,000 ranking go up to 10,000 due to whatever buying trends are going on.
Those figures are for book, which are out of 8 million total. Other categories the figures are different. I think the ranking works on an exponential scale, so something 10,000 ranking sells many times more than 20,000 ranking. It might be double the ranking but 10x the sales if you follow me.
