Default What does this order mean...

I recieved an order, around 200 dollarish. It is going to NY with an apt number, but on the Amazon order the country code is TT. I think it is Trinidad/Tobango. Im a little worried. I will probably send it Priority with signiture confirmation. Do I send it, or cancel the order? I dont have a good feeling about this one.

Your thoughts please?

Contact the buyer and ask for phone number.

If the shipping code is in NY , then it has to be USA.

I dont ship international, so could this person be buying for someone, then shipping it to Trinidad?

What would I ask when I call this person, and If I cant get a Phone #, should I cancel the order?

The account is not in review, so I can absorb a cancellation, but I do not want a bad feedback.

I see this sometimes on my orders. I always ship to the US shipping address that is provided. I suspect it may be a glitch of some kind. I have never had a problem as long as you are shipping to the address that Amazon tells you to ship to.

I have gotten many orders with a foreign country as the credit card country and the buyer gives a US address.
I have never had a problem.
I would not think twice about shipping the items.

as long as the address is here in USA, then it'll be fine.
If you are super worried, cancel it.

I've received orders like this. Keep in mind that a buyer can order a book for any address they want. I think it means the buyer's funds are comming from an account in that country or something similar, they can be purchasing a book for a relative in the states or for themselves just using whatever banking they have, its no worries I've never had a problem.

I think Amazon provides a buyer phone number for every order now. Log into Amazon and check the order details.

The TT is just the country code for the credit card billing address. If you received an order in your Amazon Seller Account, the payment went trough already, you don't have to worry about being scammed.

Notes:
1. Sometimes you get an order confirmation, but the actual order has been placed hours or even 1 day before you got the email, because it took a while for the payment to clear.
2. Sometimes you even get a message from Amazon saying that you just sold something, but don't ship yet, the payment didn't clear etc.
3. Also, sometimes you can see that you had an order which was cancelled by the buyer before you even got any confirmation email. This is because they cancelled before the payment cleared.

I noticed this only on my Seller Central accounts. My Marketplace accounts do not have a phone number.
