Default for amazon: how to disable network adapters on a macintosh

How do I disable network adapters on a Mac so that Amazon can't see them? This is the step that involves the device manager for Windows. Anyone know what this step entails for a mac?

I do not use Amazon but,

How can Amazon see you your MAC address? Do you have to install something on your computer at any stage when selling with Amazon?

If not then I doubt they can get that sort of information, also it wouldn't be your NIC MAC but your router or modem MAC.

BUT if you are so paranoid then download 'Technitium MAC Address Changer' (FREEWARE) and you can spoof (change) the MAC address of your network devices.

'Technitium MAC Address Changer' is a lot better than SMAC, it has more features, is a lot more user friendly and its FREE! :D

@ShadyOne - just for your info since you do sell on Amazon - it's proven that Amazon bans users due to NIC and MAC issues. They are FAR more advanced in their link methods than ebay. The Amazon Ghost guide discusses that.

The Technetium thing seems to be what a lot of people use for changing the mac info - so good point on that.

I do NOT sell on Amazon (you may have meant that :D), never have, I will one day though so thanks for the info. I was actually looking into A mazon after getting suspended from e Bay, but then I found this site.

I have actually seen a few people mention that they can and can't see your MAC and NIC details. I really thought it would have been the later because they should not be able to obtain such info without running some sort of application on your computer

I did go from SMAC to The Technetium myself, so it came from personal experience
