Amazon wants drivers license #

So I have made many amazon buyer account in the past and today when I tried to create one it asked me for a drivers license number has anybody else run into this yet????

I just went and opened a brand new Amazon Seller account after I read this post.
I was NOT asked for a Driver License at any step in the process.
Everything was just as normal as it has been for a while.

buyers account not familiar with those but if you have so many you cant keep track of them then of course amazon probably thinks you are trying to scam then or other ppl.

Usually Amazon Payments asks for DL. You can put random numbers, and you are all fine.

Not sure if it works with Amazon buyer account.
