| barrycruan | 10-20-2013 09:37 PM | Re: accounts getting deleted As greenie has said, its a bad time to start up an account as the holidays are upon us and amazon in the past have got a lot tougher in this period.
However I have recenlty set up 2 new accounts, something I have not done for a while now and both are going strong.
It depends on your goals but I would set up accounts now with the view of them being strong in the new year. Its annoying to miss the christmas rush but you can still sell a decent amount at christmas (if you set the accounts up now) and then have an account for years to come. It is a much better proposition than having a suspended seller account over christmas with your funds being held for 90 days and starting the new year from scratch.
For the first month aim for around 10-£20 per day turnover and do everything you can to get positive feedback. Try and get at least 20 positive ratings or a minimum of 10% feedback for all orders.
Stay under the raydar until you have some strong feedback, that means no high risk categories and only listing one or two items.
If your account is to last it is more than likely going to get a review at some point, just make sure you are happy with your metrics when the review arrives and wait it out.
Im not stating it as fact but it is what I have always done and so far it has never failed to get me an account that eventually gets featured merchant status. |

This was meant to be advice on what is generally the best solution that is getting my accounts deleted.
When barrycurran said "can you provide the proof. Word of mouth and opinion is not proof". He did not mean to offend he was merely stating that sometimes people on these forums have no concrete evidence and just say things for the sake of it. | Nobody has proof of anything, just experience.. |

The main problem i am having is my Amazon accounts keep getting deleted, no review just pure deletion.
What happens is once i make the accounts after a good few weeks near disbursement dates i cannot log in.
I sell a few items (not high risk) and then i cannot log in. This is a big, big issue for me.
Can anyone shed any light on this matter please?? Thank you | If it is near your disbursement date it maybe the VCC that you used have no balance. I know that you said the VCC good for 1 year but
- Do you have the control of the VCC? That mean you can log-in the VCC account to check for balance or transaction history
- Do you know how much the VCC balance available?
I remember Amazon did let you know this upfront that I will do a test charge (just authorize) a transaction up to $4. |
| mufc365 | 10-21-2013 10:26 AM | Re: accounts getting deleted Yes maybe this could be the reason then. I don't have control of the vcc and neither can I log in to view the balance or transaction history.
The vcc's were purchased from sellers on here. Prior to purchasing they just told me their should be enough balance to cover a test charge.
@TonyAlmeida can I ask when you make your stealth accounts what method do you use to verify the card registration details? Do you purchase from sellers on here or do you use a gift card etc?
Thanks |
| TonyAlmeida | 10-21-2013 10:36 AM | Re: accounts getting deleted For me, I only created U.S account and DON'T buy any VCC in the forum. I buy my physical Visa Gift card from local store. This way I can decide how much I want to put in the card and have full control of the Gift card I bought. I can log-in and view my transaction history of that card.
I don't know if you have that type of card in UK but ask the UK seller to find out.
Also, contact the VCC seller that you bought those VCC for help on the details of those card you bough. |

Your own experience is not in any way proof of this, unless you can back it up with some documents.
You claim to have proof so I would like to know what proof you have. If I claimed to have proof of something Id like to think I could provide that proof pretty much instantly.
My point is you make far too many things up. Everyone knows amazon take a test charge but you seem to be the only one going round saying you have proof. Quote:

There is quite a bit of proof (i.e. my own experiences and others) that show that when a credit card Amazon test charge fails, an account can be deleted. | |

| barrycruan | 10-21-2013 12:10 PM | Re: accounts getting deleted I will leave it but what I wrote makes perfect sense and the fact that you dont get it is the problem. I know a lot of things to be true, but I would never say I have proof if I could not provide it. You do this often and I just wanted to see what this proof is. Your own experience is not proof and your opinion certainly is'nt. |

| MICKY H | 10-21-2013 07:37 PM | Re: accounts getting deleted Just go to Sainsbury's Tesco etc and buy a Mastercard gift card. These work, cost is £27.50 I recall with a £25.00 balance |
| mufc365 | 10-22-2013 02:44 AM | Re: accounts getting deleted Quite dear that just for verification purposes, no offence |
| Freakzilla | 10-22-2013 04:25 AM | Re: accounts getting deleted Not really. £27.50 to enable you to sell for a year on Amazon. If you know what your doing you can spend the balance at the end as well. Quote:

By having such an VCC, you get a (better) chance of the account staying active and thus making you money & therefore a return of your expenses.

if i recall , if you used certain VCC like entropay on amazon didnt that lead to instant deletion/block or was that paypal? |

Just like a standard credit card. From memory they have an expiration date which is the time from when the card is activated, 6 months I recall. |

cause there are some cards at asda and tesco. They should not be working... until you at least register the card it could work.
But from my experience amazon doesnt even allow certain prepaid cards like payoneer.
Never mind giftcards that dont have address registered on it.
My question to you is,
1.what card are you taking about
2. do you register address before using? |
