Default Lots of orders and little feedback??

Hey all,

I'm new to AZ and just opened shop 2 weeks ago. My account is now under review and it's not looking good.

In 2 weeks we shipped just over 150 orders. (new to this and didn't know we were supposed to grow slowly) We don't resell. We design and sell our own products that range from $3-$7 generally. We ship all orders for free using standard shipping.

Out of all of those orders we have only gotten 2 feedback and one of them is negative claiming that the order was not received by AZ's promise date. I sent out a new item to the customer this morning with rush shipping and tracking. I have not been contacted at all by the customer. Several emails trying to correct this and no response.

I also sent emails to all the customers who have received their orders and still no feedback. Now our seller rating is in the pits. All checks are green but I'm worried because we are counting on this to work and I feel we are doing everything right.

Any tips on anything would be GREATLY appreciated! I feel the impending doom of an account closure headed my way.

Thanks!

Did you use tracking number on the first one? Why you send out another one while can't communicate with the buyer?

On 1 of my news account, I sold almost 200 transactions now but NONE, not a single feedback Very weird eh? All those transaction was FBA and item range from $200-300

I sent a new one because I said I would when trying to resolve. I figured since it wasn't a huge hit, it was best to send one out with tracking to prove it gets delivered and possibly get the customer to remove the feedback.

As of right now I have still not gotten a response. This morning when I logged on my seller rating went to zero. AZ says due to negative feedback.

I get less than .01% feedback on amazon. Sell thousands of items and get nothing basically.

I hear feedback makes a difference if you are a new seller and under review. We exceeded the velocity limit and were put under review. Now our seller rating is zero showing -500 points for a negative feedback. Orders are still coming in pretty solid which I wasn't expecting with a negative feedback. I'm worried if we don't get some good feedback soon we will be doomed since we are already on the radar. Thoughts?

It's worthless to send another to get feedback remove to my opinion. Buyer feedback said received late, not the none receiving.

It might be worth you investing in a few $$$ to reimburse your friends and their friends to register account and buy one or two cheapo items to leave stellar fb. OK so it will cost you but as they say you have to speculate to accumulate.

If I get a bunch of good feedback will it overpower that one negative feedback?

@TonyAlmeida

I sent the order out on Jan. 28th. I sent out a new one because I'm afraid the post office may have lost the package.

Just wondering how its possible to get that kind of velocity on a brand new listing with new UPC - even for a seasoned account. Seems more to this story than meets the eye.

Large inventory, unique listings, strong keywords and SEO, and a very good mentor.

No. Only volume will dilute the impact of negative feedback. If all you have is that one negative I don't think that is worrisome. Your ODR is still less than 1%

Zoneout is right. Usually, if your ODR is less than 1% then your account is not in serious trouble.

I do not sell a ton of items on Amazon but did notice little feedback when I listed a ton of items.

Is this normal for Amazon customers?

My account just have one Amazon it's now over a year old and only 155 transactions but only 4 positive or just 4 feed backs , it's kind of refreshing going from eBay where buyers need to have there hands held from beginning to end and than some. But Amazon is just a nice change of Pace and I could of sold much more but I'd sell 2 days a month and in a few hours once sales approached $1000 a cut it off, just too busy with eBay and haven't really researched amazon so trying not to lose this account and it takes a month to get those funds, but it's nice to sell I get almost no questions or any interaction with customers it's great , just wish payments came faster than 21 day wait and than a break up over 3 weeks more

Yes sandy it is very normal. I would say you get FB on about 10% sales at most. Unlike eb where it's about 90%

It's a different mindset. Eb wants buyers (however fickle) to dictate seller competence. Whereas on AZ it's a bit more scientific and uses stats to judge seller compliance.

Use a friend's computer and random email address, create an account and buy an item from yourself on amazon. Wait a few days, leave feedback.

Don't bother shipping the item or anything, just mark it as shipped and you'll have the money minus the fee just deposited into your amazon account.
