Default Setting up Virtual Machine in VMware Player

Hello.
Sorry, I don't have much of a basic knowledge of network computer and never use virtualization software before, but I'm going to try to follow the instruction of the Amazon Ghost E-book. When I set up my virtual machine hardware in VMware Player, which options should I choose in Network Adapter setting? and why?

- Bridged: connected directly to the physical network
- NAT: used to share the host's IP address
- Host-only: a private network shared with the host
- Custom: specific virtual network
- LAN segment

Thank you very much.

Bridged or Nat

i use both, no issues or any difference.

Bridged tells it is real computer pluged in the network, Nat share only the IP but i think both is ok for an account as i never had a problem with this.

NAT has better compatbility for the host and guest from my experiance, I usually select that.

Bridge works better though since the virtual LAN card is "patched" directly to the physical lan card.
