Re: has anyone opened a uk amazon seller since after the changes??
I don't know about Amazon UK, but Amazon US recently had a policy change requiring any seller of DVD's with a MSRP of $25 or more to be pre-approved. MSRP means the manufacturer's suggested retail price, so even if you want to price your DVD's at $15, you still cannot list them. They did this because of all the counterfeits being listed.
I know things are different in the UK, but my guess is that Amazon is cracking down there as well. Usually when something comes to one country, it spreads to others as well. Amazon finally had enough with the counterfeit sellers. I was wondering when they were going to restrict DVD's.
Anyway, adrian03, you might want to stay away from DVD's altogether, as listing them will probably cause them to scrutinize your account.
