I have 7-8 Amazon accounts with single member LLCs.

Up until recently , I never had any problems.

All my LLCs are filed under my real address but when I go to Amazon, I used to give them a different address that had no link or previous amazon accounts.

Last week, while I was helping a friend to set up a new Amazon account through his new LLC, the tax interview failed and said " there is something wrong with the highlighted info" highlighting the street address and zip code.

Fortunately, my friend had no previous Amazon accounts at the Registered address of LLC and once we put the correct address it worked.

I hope this was a glitch or something because it will be hard for me to file LLCs on different addresses.

Why dont you use a gift card that you can register a zip code?

Gift Cards do not work for Amazon as a general rule.

I just read this on a different thread. I created my last account back in june and it was working. Almost all my accounts have gift cards and still getting transfers without problems.

Hello,
I started the procedure of a new stealth amazon professional account today.
I completed everything except the Tax Identity.
It seems that I can't have my new account if I don't start the Tax Identity Information. Is that normal? Because I read in this forum that Amazon asks for tax info after 50 transactions.
I put a business name under Legal Entity but I don't have yet a LLC.
Can I obtain an EIN from IRS before make a LLC and put that EIN and Business name before start that LLC?(in tax interview?)
Can I pass the tax interview that way?
I don't want to pay 200-300 USD to form a LLC before I am sure that my seller account is enough stable.
Can please someone send me some help for the above issues?

Yes, that's normal, for a PROFESSIONAL SELLERS ACCOUNT.

ALL "Professional" sellers accounts have to provide Tax info, regardless of sales. It's in Amazons policies.

As a general rule, you should avoid upgrading to a Professional plan for at least a month, IMHO. The slower the better on Amazon.

Holy cake! How on earth do you deal with taxes? It must cost a fortune to prepare taxes for 7-8 different LLC's.
