Im just trying to get all my info together so I can do everything the most correctly as I said. So you say I should just open the bank account with the business then? Because obviously just using my name and such on the info could get me flagged.

Should I back track then, and use the p.o box with legal zoom, then I would use the p.o box info with the bank?

NO! Obviously it WON'T flag you, because Amazon can't see your name! As long as you use a bank that doesn't mind mis-matched names (and there are several lists in the forum) you'll be fine!

I mentioned that I needed legalzoom so I could obtain the resale license. The business aspect is something that I personally want to do.

And what section of the form are these in? I have searched for the keyword banks, and am not finding much. Once I get things off the ground Id love to give you a kickback for all the help you have given me.

Thats fine, I just want others who are reading the thread to know you don't NEED an LLC or Inc. to run an Amazon account.

Now from what I read on here alot of people deal in merchant fulfilled things. How would this roll over if I am doing fba? There is talk of the 30 day review process and everything. And I cant really gauge what my profits and such will look like in the first 30 days.

Okay, I didnt think it would change things for the worst, I figured it would actually make things easier.

Now I just thought of something, so tell me if this might smoothen things, at least for me in my head I think it might lol

I have a means to cut out the p.o box and use a legit address, So I could register the business with legal zoom under that, then register the bank under that address too, in that case I can go as far as to say the mismatched names part wouldnt even matter, then I have the debit card from the bank account and that all works itself out. Then making a different user account along with a dedicated IP, and everything is pretty much taken care of.

Edit: Though if I wasnt going to do that, could I use a p.o box with legal zoom and with the bank?

Depends on the bank. Legal Zoom, definitely shouldn't be a problem.

I'd say 90% of banks would never know the difference, especially if done online.

If the real bank account and real debit card is in the business name with an EIN, is Amazon likely to see your personal name on the account anywhere?

Also, will a debit card work for verification instead of a credit card?

Alright, so the last plans look like this

>24c dedicated IP
>Home address that I didnt use on amazon
>Create EIN for use with amazon
>Legal Zoom for the business, use other home address

(The way I figure it when I make the bank account they will ask for documents showing the business and its location, so I can use my other home address)
>Username as business name with amazon or I can use a DBA name as the first and last name, and then put the business name in the field for amazon
>Create small business bank account for use for payment/ debit card to attach to account
(Since I can open a bank account with my DBA name on the account, it wont matter what bank I go to, since the deposit will come in the name of my DBA name)

Nothing wrong with 24VC, and from what I heard, the service is FANTASTIC. But you can change your IP with a MAC Address changer which will automatically change your IP address. You only need to change your IP ONCE, unless you're running multiple accounts. I'm not saying don't use a VPN, but I'm pointing out for those on a budget, you can change IPs for free with very little technical know-how.

You can also simply use your own personal credit/debit card. Amazon does NOT verify the name. Your name might be Joe Smith, but you can put Marty Anderson for the name, and the charge(s) will still go through. Only the zip code and house numbers need to match. As long as the card hasn't been used before, it will work perfectly.

As for address, using an alternate address is fine, just be sure that no one else living there is using that address for their own Amazon accounts, or else it could cause problems for one or both of you.

As for payment, only authorized sellers are allowed to accept payments for services provided, and I am not one. Furthermore, I'm simply giving back what I was given when I started here. I didn't know all of this info when I first joined, I learned from others, who learned from others themselves. Even Aspkin has learned from members of this forum, it's sort our our own eBay and Amazon Mastermind group. If you want to pay it back, just pay it forward. Give advice and help to others who need it. We're all in this together.

I figured that part, thats the point of me getting the new card, my old one was used with amazon, I mean I suppose I could use my pp debit card, but I think getting a new one entirely avoids having any issues. House numbers as in "xxx something something street" right? My thought of having payments come through in a bank made with my dba name is just so that in case I want to, I can use ANY bank and not just bank of america since the payments would be coming through in the name of my dba.

On a separate note, in theory any time someone needed to make a new account I suppose they could ask their bank or cc company for a new card any time they needed to make a new account.

Now for their own amazon accounts, of course my family lives there. Some of them have amazon accounts, but only as buyers. As far as I know no one has an account set up as a seller.
