Best selling listing removed over 'safety concerns'
So I have been selling a certain branded item that was moving huge volume on amazon. It would by no means have any 'safety concerns' about it but I was selling around 30 units a day.
It seems that Amazon caught wind of its huge selling potential so started selling direct and undercut me by around 75p.
Pretty annoying stuff but as I was well established and would still make a profit, I felt it would still be worth me going below them by another 10p after a couple of weeks.
Curiously, despite them only just listing stock themselves, a few days later, the listing was blocked and disappeared from amazon. I got a further email this morning stating it was blocked over 'safety concerns' which I find to be bull.
It seems just really strange that this turn of events happened, based upon product, the fact that it was so well selling and the fact that Amazon even JUST started selling it direct.
Anyone have any thoughts on this or know if I can get them to relist it again?
