Re: Threatening message from Amazon...What else is new?
It's been my experience on Amazon that you cannot create a new product detail page for an item that already exists in their catalog whether you try to create it in the same category as the existing item or you try to put it in another category. For instance, some sellers will try to create duplicate product detail pages in the "Everything Else" category thinking that Amazon will not catch it. That used to be true but their bots are getting wiser by the day. If Amazon catches you trying to create duplicate pages they will give you a warning (as they've done) and they will come back and review your listings again. If another instance of a duplicate listing(s) is found they will follow through and suspend your account. From what I'm reading on their seller message boards they are really cracking down on this. If I were you I'd remove any duplicate listings you've created before they return to review your account. Unfortunately, your account is now on their radar.
