Default What does "tax passed" mean?

When someone refers to a US Amazon Seller account what in the world does "tax passed" mean?

Can someone explain in layman terms what a "tax pass" is?

It passed the "tax interview". Most likely the account creator registered the account as "owned by non-resident alien" -- you use the account at your own risk.

Best to ask the person selling the account what that means if you want an exact answer about how they do it

He said "Google it" and will not explain what it means.

Theres a lot of different aspects of taxes related to an account and saying "tax passed" is extremely vague.

If this is true chaichaoyi this would give some more understanding. If they put "owned by non-resident alien" this could hypothetically mean no SSN / EIN is required.
