What are my fellow stealthers workarounds for replying to customer buyer messages when away from their computer on vacation or camping? If they use their phone do you have to directly log in to seller central to respond to customer emails or are there other solutions?

I always have one of my laptops with me when I'm away and I use teamviewer to control everything. Very efficient.

Email has always been a super locked down area of stealth where I disable images for potential web-beacons and only reply in seller central.

Thing is the convenience usually brings in a new cog into the picture and another thing to worry about.

Email has always been a super locked down area of stealth where I disable images for potential web-beacons and only reply in seller central. | Use 4 different accounts. These 4 emails are sent to a master email account on google. Answer directly from phone or computer WITH IMAGES DISABLED.
Have never had an issue over 5 years.
Thanks

If using Yahoo mail or Google mail app on your phone, your IP wont leak. It's masked with Yahoo/Google proxy servers to protect your privacy. But if you try cutting corners, it can leak IP. So stick to these apps for peace of mind.

Gmail does not leak IP if using the browser version, but email applications such as a phone app or desktop app leak the source IP. This is what I've ready directly from several sites describing email IP leaks.
I've convinced myself that Gmail is safe to reply from with email using the browser but my lizard brain still fears the unknown so I will keep with my usual habit up replying from Seller Central directly as I've already got a good routine going. I will use a phone with teamviewer or similiar app to accomplish this when travelling.

Leaf, how about this... when in doubt, don't do it.
Keep doing the methods that have kept you safe all this time.
Today I got into a similiar situation where I need to login, but I had to be patient and login from my computer. It can be challenging in terms of patience.

I'm just helping you and many others that will have the same query as you.
So initially I advised you to use the app. There is a reason for that. Using 3rd party apps CAN leak your IP as mail doesn't always get routed via the respective mail providers proxy servers. Example - if you're with GMAIL and you send an email via a mail client.
But when you do reply via the app, these mail providers that I mentioned care about your privacy, to the degree they will mask the IP to mask your location.
You don't need to take my word for it. You can test it yourself. If you disagree with anything I've said, at the very least prove me wrong, as oppose to simply stating it. | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to Play For This Useful Post:

Reasoning is the email is sent from your local device (PC/phone) so it shows your IP as the originator - when you use normal gmail (web browser) the email originates from Gmail's server and Google does not reveal your IP.
It is also stated that yahoo/hotmail leak IP with all methods.
I may be wrong as this may have changed, but this is what I read on several sites discussing this.

Setup 2 email accounts, Gmail, Yahoo, and test it for yourself by sending emails to/from each other.
Try their online interface.
Try their mobile apps.
Then try other mobile/desktop client mail apps (i.e. not the official yahoo mail / gmail app).
Once you received the email on the other end, trace the email IP using https://whatismyipaddress.com/trace-email
If the IP isn't your IP, then its been masked.
That way you don't need to rely on what i've said, you don't need to rely on outdated threads, and more importantly you will have peace of mind having tested it yourself. Good luck | The Following 4 Users Say Thank You to Play For This Useful Post:

Why don`t you dedicate and login in the account every time at the same time at least to click "no answer needed"? Then, when you have time, answer messages |
