Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold
 
amazons keeping my money. Any help on getting it back? I sent an appeal and invoices. I find it ridiculous how they can just take your money away like that

First email:

During this period, you have failed to successfully appeal for reinstatement. We previously informed you that we would withhold funds in your account if you did not successfully appeal. Within the next 30 days, submit an appeal to enforcement-appeals@amazon.com. We recommend you send unaltered documents that demonstrate the authenticity of your items. Please address all of the ASINs and violations that resulted in the removal of your Amazon listings.

It's no wonder Amazon is nearly a 1 trillion dollar company.. it steals people's money!

I'm surprised this has gone on for so long and there is no big story on it. This has been happening for years.

Why wonder in the first place?! People simply have no willpower to go after their rights. I once suggested suing Amazon or eBay for their behavior and was ridiculed :juggle:

I am positive that Amazon has stolen millions of $ from banned sellers and nobody has ever done anything about it. They also claim to be destroying inventory, but I suspect they auction that off somewhere.

luckily i got the inventory back but i spent thousands of dollars shipping things around.

i did send them invoices. they didnt accept it. some of them i didnt have invoices because they were purchased from a store closeout. thats about it.

14,000 they are taking..

i have 46k and they are holding it, also i may get suspended tomorrow just because i dont have invoice for two product i was selling, due of authenticity complaining from customers :(

"Make/pay for" a new ones that they will accept.
If you can login in your account there is still hope.

They will continue to ask you about the invoices for those two products, so you have time to be creative or pay for that :)

Amazon will only hold you money if you have been selling counterfeited items . They won't release it even after 90 days , you can send an email to payments team to get things sorted out .

By now I understand your sentiments. The beast of amazon has much more money than us. This is the issue we have.

Attempting to reclaim our losses does often involve more funds that might be at our disposal.

Such issues do not just happen with amazon USA but also amazon EU

Wing, you need to send them the documents to prove that these are legitimate items that they'll accept to get the funds released. I doubt they'll reinstate your account, but try to get the invoices and extra documents that you can get.

I don't know what you are selling so it's a little more difficult to tell you more specific things. But you NEED to try to give them those docs while the window is still open and ASAP. And pray they accep tit

Ive been saying it for years amazon is only out to rip off sellers on the platform!! No one gets it .How do you think they got this big .Why do you think there is now in the news controversy about amazon taking over all of retail and they want to stop it..Destroying the retail sector. More power to you if you want to try and sell for that fool who keeps holding good sellers accounts hostage and millions of dollars of legitimate people that all they want to do is sell for a living

.I stopped buying on the site will not give bozo my hard earned money when back in the day I was a big legitimate seller that was railroaded by slime ball sellers trying to ride my coattails.. could not compete with me.So started false accusations and got my accounts shut down. I wallked away after that.In 2006-2007 I remember the market crashed and they mhad mass account deletions right before xmas ! could not make accounts they were shutdown immediately it was talked about all over the web. that is when I said the money train has parked and it is over. Just hope you guys can keep trying to sell good luck to you all..

I think they just add the inventory to its own and take all the sellers money and dispurse it to many other of his sites that he scooped up the guy wants to be the only retailer in existence and this is why trump is trying to derail Amazon!!

Seconding Aspkin. This is a good example of corporate bullying the little guys. Think it's a situation where they can't legitamately keep all your cash, especially if you've sold other items not in conflict with policy. They're currently holding 2.5k of my money, less than 1% of which was for items sold not adhering to policy. They're essentially being too lazy to sit down with you and go through your sales to determine what should be yours, and what shouldn't. Instead they're just saying 'Mine.'

They nabbed me for $68k just this March. They haven't released and no longer respond to my emails. Anyone ever seek legal council to see what can be done? The items I sold were not counterfeit but I can't provide invoices. I bought them from a third party that verified the authenticity, but invoices they provide me aren't acceptable it seems.

Anyone ever seek legal council to have the funds released and have success? I was looking at these guys:

From what he explained, the first thing to happen is for the case to go to arbitration where Amazon can decide to release the funds there. Be careful spending that kind of money on a company online

Make sure to do the research and look for reviews/reputation

Contact Jeffs team again, and try to work something out. If these are indeed authentic items, be persistent.

I would say wait awhile (like a few weeks) then email seller support and Jeff again. They legally cant hold your money forever. They would have to refund all the customers or pay you!

They can't keep your money - if you write good letter to them or call them and describe professional your situation your money will appear in your bank account.

If you talk to them and write letters like amateur, this kind of thing happens in Amazon money disappears.

Write to Jeff, performance team, call them someone from them will reply to you.

Yeah that really sucks in these situations... Although, they can't really prove that items were inauthentic (unless they go to trial, which they won't).

Having said that, there is a way you might be able to retrieve the money.

i am afraid you have lost this battle, Amazon is keeping seller funds and not replying to their emails, thats why Jeff became the richest person in the world.
