| walkingupwards | 01-30-2019 06:48 AM | Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold This is beyond silliness. Based on some ****er complaint they reach the conclusion that an item is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and suspend someone. They are taking everyone on their platform for a ride including some very big brands.
Someone from Silicon Valley should found a new marketplace and bring the old days of eBay back (low selling fees...etc). |
| Wing081 | 01-31-2019 04:29 AM | Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold Heres an update.
I hired a company called riverbend consulting. I will update what happens and the outcome. So far they seem KIND OF professional. They look into your account with detail. Their appeal is professional (only got one so far). Their report on your account is detailed. If the appeals don't work then they will go on to the next steps which is reporting to the BBB.
I also paid money to a seller here (think it was josh?) who does appeals for my other cases.. lets see how this goes.. |

I also paid money to a seller here (think it was josh?) who does appeals for my other cases.. lets see how this goes.. | I've used Riverbend Consulting in September they weren't any success for me as of now. I was suspended for "manipulated or forged" invoices. The invoices were real, I also provided Seller Support with bank statements that was signed and stamped by my bank along with a bank letter showing that the items on invoice were paid to that company, still no luck. Amazon is holding $75k of my money and it's been 139 days. I appealed for my money and they said they are holding it indefinitely. I am at such a frustrated situation. I went through BBB, amazon responded that after 90 days it will be reviewed. Last message to them through BBB Amazon didn't respond and they got a negative on BBB for not responding and the case was closed. Them getting a negative on BBB for rating for my issue didn't help me obviously since it didn't get my money. Through all the frustrations, I opened another Amazon account, got a new laptop and a mobile data plan and got an account using my brother's name with a "virtual address" and we were selected for account review (sending utility bills, etc.) I actually had registered a new company under his name and sent all the required documents and just got a suspension for "account may be related to another account" just two weeks ago and have $20k stuck in the second account. It's been such a stressful and frustrating time for me. I'm open to get help from anyone at this point. |
| Datpiff | 02-01-2019 01:41 AM | Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold I have the same issue just hopping someone gets to the bottom of this even they shouldn't be doing this if buyers don't want a refund no matter what it is |

Iam in same situation but with lower amount of money they keep in hold around 9k. Second account was closed upon opening they didnt accept my utility bill which was real.
There should be a way around that Amazon fu*cking people really bad. There are a lot of sellers with same issue where Amazon holds millions is that legal when 10% of these sellers providing them real documents and 90% of them ⊗⊗⊗⊗..they are not accepting anything.
I wonder what is real/valid document for them.... really want to see that kind of document. |
| Lucky100 | 02-01-2019 04:36 PM | Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold Amazon took 45k total in inventory from me in 2018
I got aprox 20k reimbursed, they won’t do the rest.
If I arbitrate the rest of the funds, they will suspend my account? Can anyone confirm this? As the account is worth a lot to me.
I believe I have a strong case, they are selling my product with my label on someone else’s similar private listing LOL |
| White Tiger | 04-08-2019 04:19 AM | Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold Have also issue and continue the battle with Amazon Team, I got suspended 120 days ago invoices forget and manipulated
We sent a lot of appeals but nothing happened and lawyers did not help. Funds is still withheld on Account.
I received email again email from Amazon:
Your account is currently in a 30-day funds appeal period and is not eligible for reinstatement or disbursement of funds. We encourage you to submit an appeal for your funds.
What happens if I do not appeal?
If your appeal for funds is not successful or you choose not to appeal within 30 days, some or all of your funds will be withheld in your account.
How do I submit an appeal?
Please send your appeal to disbursement-appeals@amazon.com. A successful appeal will address all of the policy violations that resulted in the loss of your ability to sell on Amazon.
But I have only the same invoice that I sent before, Should I send this one again?
I do not want to lose my money from that account, I earned it hard work and continue something do. |

Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold It is possible with the right appeal, some luck and some good invoices you get your money released. Recently had 2 cases where we was able to do exactly that
It can however be very hard and need a little luck aswell
Try arbitration if all else fails
Good luck |

Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold this is a common message. As I said I have got clients, especially very recently where we manage to release funds, but of course, this is difficult and has many variables....
but as others mentioned if you have a large enough balance then arbitration is the way forward if you can afford it |

| ersincemil | 04-12-2019 01:31 AM | Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold Amazon give me many chances for reinstatement and always ask me for more info, they always responded to my appeals in timely manner but always reject us because of “josh’s” appeals which were really each time same and unprofessional. They didnt cover what amazon wanted from us. He want to try his luck with same appeals and get the gold. At the end they said that they will hold all funds around 9k and thats the end. I recommend to not pay anyone for appeal service and try to find some free appeals from the net and do it for you as all of them appears on the net.I didnt see any case where clients to be reinstated after “forged and manipulated suspension” with these appeal services which all say “we have big success” if you check their positive comments nobody mention appeal type which are in most cases the easy ones. |

| Lucky100 | 04-12-2019 02:54 AM | Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold Has anyone here actually got there money when amazon says “your account is in a 30 day appeal period”
I submitted legit invoices, they called my supplier, and verified it’s legit. Then didn’t release
In my opinion once they send that 30 day appeal email they already decided to steal it |

| Wing081 | 04-16-2019 05:04 AM | Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold Okay its funny because most of these things ive tried already.
Riverbend. Getting frusturated with their services. Its been almost 3 months now with them and their replies are slow. First we sent several appeals to amazons different departments including jeff bezos. Next we sent a complaint to BBB and got the same message from amazon saying they reciewed the case and are still keeping my 11k funds. Now its been more than a week since riverbend has replied me with an update to the next step.
Josh.. also paid him for 3 accounts. None worked.
Ive been so frusturated with amazon lately that i had to take a break from them and focus on ebay.
Any other help would be appreciated. I have about 50k on hold from amazon across multiple accounts |
Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold Our appeals as other service providers appeals, work. The issue is, when Amazon have decided not to disburse your funds it is extremely difficult to get the hold removed.
I have had a client recently of which they were released...
If you pay a company such as Riverbend or any other alternative service they will all find it difficult to release hold on money. This does not means it doesnt happen.
The issue here is Amazon not the services trying to help...
The best solution in hard to fight cases is arbitration as many others suggest.
You need to have a big enough balance on one single account for it to be worth your while though |
| ALLOHRANDY | 10-03-2019 12:47 AM | Re: Amazon keeping my money after the 90 day hold my account was suspended by Amazon for violation of their policy and about $19,000 lock in when i got suspended. however, I was able to receive $18,000 back after the 90 days of waiting period but they refused to release the remaining $1000. so i decided to buy a new laptop from Amazon of $1000 and return my old broken Laptop back to them for a refund, I will never do business with them |

A family often goes to Paris for vacation, claimed to have bought genuine Chanel leather goods from a Paris boutique (end of season sales) and sell them on Ebay, have proof of credit card receipts .
Chanel Vero verified these are ⊗⊗⊗⊗,there is no such end of season sales and that boutique does not carry Chanel good,it is not a CHanel dealer.
What they have are counterfeits made in China.
The lesson is showing vendor receipts do not always save your skin |

If it's an inauthentic issue, you'll never see that money again.

Trust me, jeff is far from the richest in the world.
OP, your best bet is to try and get a lawyer to write a legal certified letter demanding the release of the funds, I've heard people getting successful with this.
After that, your best bet is to actually take it to arbitration. Amazon has the burden of proof, they need to prove that the items you sold are not authentic, which is hard for them to do when amazon only goes based off of customer "complaints", and paranoia.
Talk to an actual lawyer that deals with this, I remember this subject being brought up before, search the forums and find the thread where people successfully appealed, I think they recommended lawyers to use |

B. "violations of our Seller Policies and Seller Code of Conduct" But both accounts got the email within a few minutes of each other, which means they probably got linked.

Others on this forum have said they had lawyers represent a stealth account and get the money back. Its not like you can't have the lawyer go to arbitration "for" you, and (from my limited knowledge) you don't need ID to do the arbitration. If you had the account under a company, that eliminates the true stealth issue, and the lawyer can represent the company under the account |

Exactly lol.
@OP, if you had the account transferred into a company name, have the lawyer represent the company that the account is under. Companies are meant to be a shield as they are considered their own "entity", talk to a lawyer and they will be able to better explain what I'm saying. I have no doubt you can get your money back, its just a matter of how much you're willing to spend to get it back as lawyers aren't cheap.
You could start off with the lawyer writing a demand letter for amazon to release the funds. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:14 PM. | |
