Re: Amazon 90 day hold of seller funds
I had my $60K held by Amazon. My issue was IP Complaints as well. Products were authentic but i did not have any invoice or anything. They held the money beyond 90 days. I sent a few email back and forth to the Payment department, and first got a few We need more information BS. On my 3rd attempt I sent the same email to Payment-funds@amazon.com & Seller performance team, and within an hour I got the email bellow
"Dear XYZ,
Please disregard the communication sent on 02/26/2019 as this was sent in error.
Funds for the amount of 60676.56 CAD were transferred to your bank account on file. They should arrive within 5 business days.
If you do not receive these funds, please contact us at payments-investigate@amazon.ca.
Sincerely,
Seller Performance Team
https://www.amazon.ca"
The sender of the email, however was "payments-funds@amazon.com" so not sure sending it to seller performance had anything to do with it or not, but I am glad I was able to get that money back.
I have not used any special trick or anything worth mentioning, as I simply said the 90 days is far gone, they said we need to keep the money for longer time, I said on what basis? the nature of my suspension is IP complaint and there has been no InAuthentic allegations. I also attached a copy of their original email saying they would keep the money for 90 days. I told them that the 90 days is past due by 45 days (total of 135 days after suspension). As you can see I do not have any A-Z, Messages or Return requests open therefore, there is no reason for you to hold on to this funds.
