Angry Inauthentic Suspension

Account is roughly 1 1/2 months old. Did not list any items for the first month in order to keep the account under the radar. Listed 4 items a few days ago, sold 1 of those items 3 times (not even shipped yet) and got this Amazon email this morning that states the following...

"Hello,

We are reviewing your Amazon seller account for the reason(s) listed below. During our review, you will not be able to sell on Amazon.

Funds will not be transferred to you, but will stay in your account while we work with you to address these concerns. You can see your balance and settlement information in the Payments section of Seller Central. If you have questions about those, please write to payments-funds@amazon.com.

In order to sell on Amazon again, please address the following concern(s):

You are offering items that may be inauthentic. A list of these items is provided below:"

Please send us the following information:
-- Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders, or authorization letters from your supplier issued in the last 365 days. The quantity of items shown should match your inventory.
-- If you are not the brand owner, provide an authorization letter and a complete set of documentation, including authorization letters, to prove a valid supply chain.
-- If you are the brand owner, provide a copy of the brand registration certificate, and business license or personal identity card.
-- Contact information for your supplier, including name, phone number, address, email, and website.

You can send .pdf, .jpg, .png, or .gif files. These documents must be authentic and unaltered. We may call your supplier to verify the documents. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible. We will maintain the confidentiality of your supplier contact information.

Please send all of the information requested above to pq-seller-assessment@amazon.com.

We will review your information and decide if you may sell on Amazon again. If you do not send the required information within 17 days, we may no longer allow you to sell on Amazon. Failure to provide us with the information above may result in us permanently withholding any payments to you.

okay, so it seems that you got reported by a competitor.
What category are you selling in?

The solution believe it or not is laid out by amazon themselves.
What you need to keep in mind is that they want "proof" of authenticity so if you can provide that outside of what they are asking also such as a letter from the manufacturer that they can contact directly would be a big plus.

Did you go below MAP? Amazon manufactures notorious for using inauthentic claim if you go bellow MAP.

No, I don't believe so. There's a seller on the item that has it for almost $5 below 2nd lowest which was me, and 3rd was only 1 cent higher than me.

It seems that might be the case. I just find it strange since I had the exact same item in my wife's store and never had a problem (sold 80+ last month). It went out of stock so I pulled it from her store but saw that it had come back into stock so I added it to my store and then all of the sudden this happens... I'm DS btw so I don't have legit invoices from manufacturers but I'm using Walmart as a supplier.

My own experience and reading forums be very careful. PQ-review is on steroids for the holiday season. Go extra slow and dont add anything that might flag a review. In my own experience if any asin was ever flagged for any reason, ip complaint, etc, then that is a marked asin and can get a review at any time.

Yeah they been on steroids for the past 6 months.

Best way to get through it is with a letter of authorization to sell.

Invoices work as well, make sure they're from reputable distributors

Ya. And here I was thinking that I was being careful by not posting anything for the first month. Definitely makes sense for them to be on high alert since Q4 is the biggest part of the year.

What company and/or distributors would you suggest to have invoices from?

Pick distributors in the US/UK/EU that pop up on the 1st page of google searching the item you are selling. Keywords like wholesale "product item" etc
