 Document Verification
Hey,
Amazon connected me and my brother (we worked form the same house but sold different items) many years ago and sent me an email that I couldn't sell on Amazon due to their 2 account policy (I didn't really sell much so I just stopped selling). I now would like to sell again (my brother lives in the USA and I live in Canada) but I know that if I ask Amazon, they will not allow me to sell (based on experience, let sleeping dogs lie). I bought the Ghost guide and now have a clean computer, connection etc but as soon as I tried to open an account, they required supporting documentation (passport/license + bank or credit card statement) which came out of the blue (the guide indicated that they would ask later on).
My plan was to open a new account and be creative with my ID by using Middle and Last name and to swap the month and year (i.e John Joseph Smith DOB 2/12/77 would be Joseph Smith 12/2/77).
Question is:
1) They seem to require documentation for tax purposes. How should I be dealing with that?
2) My main goal is to have this account as a stable long term account (I don't plan to have many stealth accounts). Based on people's experience, should the above plan work?
