No matter how you put in the request, reason, etc, if there is feedback in the ticket the bots will pick it up and you always get the same response.......

Thats not true. A person does take over to give the response if you can get to one.

buyer left negative because item was not received. I have refunded the order and tracking is showing item delivered to the correct address amazon is refusing to remove the feedback. Tried contacting the buyer through messages - no response. Should I try to call them? Account is new so this 1 negative is just killing me...

Well cause I thought this will help me convince the buyer to remove it plus from my experience chances are a follow up of AZ claim or chargeback which with no signature confirmation will be awarded to the buyer. My question is rather is there any danger for the account if I go ahead and contact the buyer directly by phone. I see that is against the amazon policy but... no other way really
Do they record calls through this crappy forward phone system they have in place to hide the real numbers, anyone knows?

If Amazon do not want to remove you can try to convince the buyer
like sending a replacement , partial refund ecc.. but always in the limit
