Question for new account
I have a question about starting a new seller account.
My fiance and I started a business about 10 years ago on Amazon. It's done incredibly well and still active as of now, but I am leaving. Without going into a lot of details, my soon to be ex is abusive in all ways and after years, I'm not going to take it anymore.
I hand make and design everything we sell (about 4,000 products). My fiance keeps control over me by threatening to close the seller account. It's all my hard work and after reviewing with a lawyer, they said it's best to just close it myself (keep all ASINs) and start again so there is no more control from his part and just rebuild it myself.
When we originally started, we just did it under his SSN. Later on, we changed it on Amazon to an LLC with both of us members.
My SSN hasn't ever been on the seller account itself. So, my question is if I start new, can I use my SSN? (the other account will be closed before doing this)
My name has been on the buying side of the account. Just wondering if this will link me to the old account or anyone have any ideas on what I should do so it won't link?
It's been a long time since the first account was registered with Amazon and not sure what all the require now as it's changed so much.
