Google authenticator with Amazon

Have just bought a new phone so will be using this as my 2 step back option with authenticator.

I have added this to my Amazon account so now have 2 authenticator apps registered on that account ( new and old phone).

Does this mean I can log in with either? Can I now remove the old authenticator app?

Yes you can add additional devices

make sure to back up the QR code if you are using an authenticator

You can take a screenshot of them and store it securely
