Shipments are scanned as "picked up" in your zip code because your carrier's scanner is programmed for your zip code, and they're scanned at the destination as "delivered" because the carrier there has that zip code programmed into their scanner.
If you're talking about receipts you get at the post office, the destination address shows on those receipts because they're showing you what you paid for. You can't go back and look at your postage record online so they include all the relevant information on your receipt.

Post (or send me) 2 or 3 screenshots like this of your packages today, and I'll tell you where each one went.

Your shipping method doesn't give you the option to reprint a label? I don't wanna wait till tomorrow... I'll have already moved on to something else.

So... again. I highly doubt you can re-use the bottom of a label with the barcode on it. It already has the destination.

You win. I didn't know the destination zip shows as the first couple digits when you scan the barcode.. until now.
Still though.. fact remains.. I was able to do that thing with the tracking stickers.

I'd estimate 2013 - 2016. It went on for a surprisingly long time. I had a list of zip codes that would reject my flats taped to my desk, and I'd use parcel postage whenever I got orders from any of those places. I know it ended in 2016 because when sh!t hit the fan it hit hard, and it was memorable, lol. Our mail lady showed up one day and told us her supervisor wouldn't allow her to pick up our shipments unless we put 3 stamps on every one of them (bringing them up to the parcel rate, thus paying for the added tracking). I'm probably a little off on what the parcel rate was but I know it was about twice what I'd pay for flats. ~$300 savings every day back then.
