Amazon Charged me, can't get the money back
I signed up to Amazon seller central yesterday because I used to sell the odd item on there years ago .
Anyway, I wanted to sign up the Individual Plan, but it seems that Amazon have fixed it so you're enrolled onto the Business Plan, costing £25 a month by default.
When I (finally) completed the signup process I automatically clicked to Downgrade my account to Individual, but find today that Amazon Charged me £30 anyway.
I've been onto customer support for the better part of an hour and a half to try to get a refund, and they just made on excuse after another. First saying they *can't* issue refunds to a card, though they're quite capable of taking money from your account from them. Then they could not release the funds because I had not verified my bank account (I have), then demanding more bank details- which I refused to give them as they already have all the relevant ones including a bank statement.
They then tried to say it could not be done because there was an alert on my account- which was not even related to the bank account. It was for address verification which I only had to put up because I was born abroad.
I'm just running into a dead end at every turn. Not only am I worried I'm not going to get a refund, but I fear they're going to try and charge me more as well even though I am now officially on an individual plan.
Anything I can do about this? I've been using Amazon for years, and they're acting like cheap scammers.
