Would Monzo work for Amazon UK?

Hope everyone is doing well.

Would Monzo Business Bank Account work for Amazon (selling account)?
This is non stealth (all legit details).

A friend of mine said Monzo is not a good idea but I just thought I'll ask the experts on here.

Do you mean Amazon will block payment or Monzo will block the payment?

Monzo works fine on Amazon, it also works on ebay

monzo is a usual bank that works everywhere but there are lots of complaints about frozen accounts there , you can google this

If, as you say, it's legit details which can be verified then Monzo will work just fine.

monzo is a special case , there are lots of people who completely legit accounts were frozen and the money was not paid out for a long time , don't know if they are still doing it but 1-2 years back it was happening in bulk to thousands of people

No, my is a personal one under my details. They opened a channel for me to transfer the remaining balance after they blocked me. That took a few days but certainly won't recommend

will it work both as deposit method and charging card?

Seems mixed back of experience with Monzo - might be better to stick with physical bank if expecting a lot of business

I was thinking about monzo for Amazon, however am worried about these blocks. I have high turnover. I suppose a high street bank would be better? What do you guys think.

monzo is a usual bank but it is easy to get in there so higher risk of being blocked. due dilligence on barclays for example is a lot higher so if you get in you will have less risk of being kicked out

Is it hard to open a normal bank account?

Monzo are absolute pond life. Go on facebook and search for the group "monzo stole our money" .. other similar groups exist. Thousands of peoples accounts closed for no reason

I would use another bank if you can

Just seen to many horror stories over the years with them keeping funds for no real reason

always keep in mind regarding monzo:

monzo is a real bank with banking licence just without branches but they behave like an EMI

so do nothing on monzo you would not do on an EMI
