Default Canada Account Effect On USA Account?

I’ve missed two disbursements because of credit card issues in the past month on my USA account. I switched over to my Canada account (which I’ve never used) and noticed a -19 balance that is to be charged tomorrow the day I’m expecting my disbursement on my USA account. The credit card assigned to the Canadian account is not active anymore. Should I change the credit card on that account to the same on my USA account? Would that delay my USA disbursement for another two weeks?

So the Canadian side you owe money, but you have a disburse balance in USA side.

And I'm guessing you used 2 different cards per country.

I usually just set 1 card for all USA, Canada and mexico

Yes I had two separate cards for both but I’ve since applied one card to both accounts.

I contacted seller support and was told that updating the card on the Canada account wouldn’t effect the disbursement date of my USA account and it ended up being true. The disbursement is currently on the way. Hopefully this is useful info for someone for the future.

Yea they're separate

Easier to go with 1 card for all markets

Keep in mind you need an international card to add use Amazon.CA as they will do a test charge in CAD not USD
