Default Amazon-bank exchange info- mismatches names

With Amzn and banks now sharing information, is there a way to used mismatched names?

I have a US stealth acc that I used to operate in UK but now doesn't have a bank attached.

I have a paynoeer account but the issue is mismatched names. Would it pass inital amazn verification, and if yes would it likely get flagged?

some banks will flag a name mismatch which Amazon will be notified about

When they get notified of a mismatch they suspend / asking for more info re-verification

early days it wasn't like this - now days, its safer to make sure you match your name exactly as it appears on the bank statement

So what would an option be for an aged stealth account without a bank attached...

Its called the Amzn pspp, have you created a new acc recently? Or any of the banks you use a part of the program?

well
you have just 2 options:

1) get a bank with the same name

2) get any bank (with any name / business or not) and try and see how it works

Then find out what worked best for you.

Problem with 1 would be getting lucky and making a new bank with the same name approved with no issues.

2) Yes thats an option but comes with risks of course. Sudden closure is the issue.

Nice, I think the big banks are not part of the program.

Its usually the online banks that have a required to join the program.

info exchange only takes place between amazon and some EMI's like payoneer , worldfirst etc.

real banks do not participate and will not participate

Whilst participation in name verification, info exchange is currently optional I can see legislation in some countries making it compulsory.

A decade ago the idea of ebay, Amazon etc handing over your info to the authorities would have been deemed almost outrageous, but from 2023 they will, via legislation, in the EU and UK, be doing just that. Not if asked about specific accounts, but sending details of all income from all accounts, straight to HMRC etc.

True stealth accounts no longer exist anyway, it just means the proportion of the process which can be fabricated reduces as a higher level of real details is required.

Coupled with the increasing involvement with regulatory bodies and tax authorities and the almost inevitable bank name checks forced through by legislation then yes, it is going to become increasingly hard to open accounts in anything other than legitimate details.

Some folk will find a way to steal legitimate info and abuse it but the days where we plucked any old rubbish out of the air and it worked are long gone.
