As murdered_by_ebay said, theoretically if you sold used items at a rate typical for a private seller disposing of their own goods then it could well sail past 15K. How far they'd let this go without questioning you I cannot say but there's many examples of folk claiming to do this who've had their accounts suspended pending conversion or an explanation.
But that's not the profile you're going to portray is it?
If I remember rightly, and this is going back many years, I got one selling new wares up to around 10K before the hammer fell.
One thing is for sure, they've tightened up dramatically over the last few years, triggered by the laxed way they were treating VAT management.
Something has clearly made you think a supposed 15K limit may no longer apply and whilst my own experiences are hardly a definitive answer I'll wager it's fairly typical. I guess there's only one way to find out...
