What Amazon does with the suspended acc money?

Anyone have any idea what Amazon does with all the money witheld from all those suspended accounts? Do they put it on their balance sheet and pump their stock or something else?

probably goes to the state quietly or just kept in some sort of 'trust'

I reckon they just sit on it, unless it was serious crime related involving a sizeable lump of money there's no way they're running to the authorities and handing it over.

Their defence will be "we're awaiting an appeal from this seller or any legal action that might be forthcoming" knowing fine well it's not gonna happen.

And they also prep it if the copyright holders demand the money to be surrendered to them.
