I think you're a slightly different case to the others. You're being asked to verify a recent change. The others are being asked to simply re-verify existing info.
Some of the posters on this threads aren't even Amazon sellers, they simply post for the sake of it. Same with most threads nowadays just full of inane waffle from those who haven't created an account or sold online for years and years. |
You were right. The disburse feature came back after 24 hrs and failed again.
I just happened to look at my bank account info page and they wanted re-verification.
There was no notification about this either by email or on my account health page. Just a notification to verify ID and UTR.
I verified the bank account with stealth statement and attempted disbursement again.
This time I got the email confirmation and it's landed in my account today.
So the lesson learned is this. If your funds are locked due to identity verification, just check your bank account info page to see if that needs to be verified too. You may get access to funds before you take the risk of providing your creative stealth ID.
