Quick question for those getting creative with bank statements - I noticed many people talking in regards to address change to match. Why not simply go to your profile info on your bank account and change the address to the matching account entity address? Most banks are super simple as far as address change and you can put whatever you want on there. Previous statements unfortunately will still show the old address on file, but if you wait a few days for the new monthly statement to come available for download, it will have the new address you entered that is matching your account address?

I just did on Chase and it went through fine. The only thing I can't change is the name instead of mine to show the name of the LLC. I tried everything lol, even adding additional account owner and used the LLC name - it didn't go through.

So I guess I will just download the May .pdf statement with the correct address when it's available and I'll simply change my name to the LLC on file and see if it goes through?

Waiting for the latest statement, this would be fine. The part that is getting me, is that the email from Amazon said I had 7 days. Anyone else?

What was the original bank account when the account was created? Payoneer?

OKay, I am nit from US, but I own a single member LLC and I used LLC's EIN.
I don't have SSN just because I am not US citizen. So, there is no way to operate SM LLC for foreign persons, only way to run a Corp?

No I never use Payoneer. Only use large Banks with my own info (mismatched). I believe this account was setup as Chase personal checking from the get go. Now I just changed the address from my home address to the LLC address that's on file with Amazon. So the only thing I need to edit is LLC name instead of my name on it. Hm, I just have to look at what the statement says, maybe it says "Personal" instead of "Business" somewhere, so I might have to change that as well?

Good! Large banks are the way to go.

If the account is personal it'll ask for personal info and vice versa.

What happens if we fail verification process? Do they suspend the account? Keep our FBA inventory and cash?

Also are they asking for the Social Security/EIN of the Business Entity/Owner currently on the account? One of my stealth accounts just has a person's name and I don't have anything on them - no social, no EIN, no ID, nothing! And the Seller that sold it to me here on Aspkin is no longer around and doesn't respond to messages.

From what I have read, there are two different types of verification. One is just a bank account verification, the second is a video verification.

Sounds to me like the name and address on the bank statement must be EXACT match to the registered entity you entered on Amazon Seller Central. So if it's a person's name, it has to be on the statement, if it's an LLC, that's what needs to be on there or it won't pass.

Recap and Update:

- Wells Fargo
- Mismatched name and receiving funds for 2 years NP
- Amazon asked for statement with point of contact name (NOT legal entity, biz name, etc)
- Got creative with bank statement, changed name, address
- Cleaned pdf metadata and uploaded
- Approved within 24 hours.

Nope you don't have to have the bank name registerested to get it to pass

Had anyone tried changing their bank?

I changed my bank, they emailed me saying mandatory security hold for 3 days funds will be held email they send everyone when bank changes

It’s been 5 days and hold not removed, is this normal? Or are we not allowed to change banks or something

What do you mean? The name could be mismatched and still passes? I think everyone seems to be saying that you need to get creative and ensure that name and address on bank statement matches the one listed in your Amazon account?

it's usually 3-5 days. Sometimes earlier.

Yep, My bank is name A, my accounts are named B, C, D....

Mismatched bank name don't matter
