I have been using a stealth account for 6 months or so and selling is going just fine, no issues. However, today I went to go buy something with the buyer account and it triggered this crap.
I'll post the email below, but basically it triggered a temporary hold on the account and of course it means I can't log into seller account either until it's cleared.
The complication is that the credit card I have on file is an employee card on my main amex account. The employee card is not one I've used before, but the address doesn't match the billing address I used and it doesn't match the credit card statement. The credit card statement doesn't even list the credit card and number that was used as it only lists my main card number and name since I haven't used this particular credit card at all since last year. So now I really am going to have trouble getting this hold cleared. In the future I will definitely set it up better, but for now, how the heck do I go about getting this hold cleared? Any advice? Do I get creative with the credit card statement? If so, do I list the address on the amazon account even though it showed as mismatched in amazon's credit card response I'm guessing?
