How long does it take before an EIN is usable on Amazon?

I got a new EIN a couple of days ago and Amazon's tax interview is saying that doesn't match IRS records.

As I received the EIN letter for it and the name matches exactly as is on the letter, I'm assuming the problem is the IRS doesn't immediately update new EINs into their verification database. Does anyone know how long it'll take for this to happen?

Huh? This shouldn't have been an issue, but I always wait a day or 2 after getting an ein before even using it.

Apparently it takes some time for the IRS to update their TIN matching database (which Amazon uses to verify the information)

That is strange maybe give it a week

It can take upto 2 weeks

It's usually faster though
