Forget about the vanilla GC. You still may be able to open an amazon account with it, but you will not be able to withdraw your money later if you are able to keep your amazon account for longer.

They are exactly the same from the information Amazon can validate.

Re #18:
You can't send money FROM amazon TO a gift card.

How does the names on the card not being checked work to our advantage? Could I verify Amazon acct with a VCC and then use a greendot card with my actual info to use to receive withdrawals from amazon?

Yes you can use a VCC on Amazon and then withdrawal to a greendot. It is not recommended you use a Greendot, a bank like Bank of America or Chase is a much better option.

Don't want to give to much detail but you all need to Google "Bank of America ShopSafe"

It's available on every BoA credit card..and secured credit card for those that are credit challenged LOL

I've been doing this for years..you have UNLIMITED credit card numbers at your disposal!

That's no secret. A few banks allow you to make vccs. Those are not anonymous at all....

Welcome to the forum. I would not recommend using a friend's credit card - if your account gets blocked, then that card can never be used again. Would your friend be ok with that?

Wow but aren't those banks, real banks? lol I know Greendot is a real financial instutution behind it but What I mean is, how do you maintain a entirely different identity (as far as ebay and amazon) with those options? I personally have a chase checking account in my own name.

I have several friends names and info for seperate ebay and amazon accounts. When it comes to banking info for those accounts (non Stealth) I use Greendot because I can get a true bank account over the internet without physical appearance no problem, then the possibility of my friends trying to open an account with a one of those major banks is not hendered.

PP cannot see any info on your bank account. Greendot is considered a prepaid bank account, not recommend for use with pp.
