amazon do the same thing as paypal who also refuse to pay out bigger balances after suspension under various pretenses
if the account is real you can take them to court , at first it may be sufficient to threaten legal action through a lawyer in writing to their physical address
and also failure to reply to messages is another pretense they have assuming that they will keep the money eventually
I was able to get a response from disbursements team - They said they were replying after an email was sent to them from Jeff so I assume that is the email that did it but I CC'd about 10 emails on the 4th reply to the disbursements team and about 2 days after that I got a response to schedule the interview.
The Interview:
I prepped my friend on all the business information and found a helpful video that had all the questions they would ask... They asked pretty much all of them + a few tricky ones that I had to text my friend live during the interview. We had a second window with a word document side by side with the interview and that worked well as a quick reference. He also tried to mute during the call but the associate quickly told him not to mute during the interview. Took about 15-20 minutes total. They make you show a bank statement on camera AND upload it, same for ID.
Just yesterday I got informed the funds WILL be released at the next disbursement date. Account still shows $0.00 payout on next disbursement date but we will wait to see if it updates to the correct amount.
Will keep you posted when/if final disbursement is received.

Do you have a link for that video which covers the questions they will ask?

Yes, it was just the first results when I used google, Skip to around 1:30 to see the full list of questions. They asked all 12 on his list and additional ones (that I remember):
1. How do you fulfill orders (FBA/Merchant etc.)?
2. What was the suspension reason?
3. What category do you mainly sell in?
4. What documents did you submit as a part of your appeal?
5. What shipping agent did you use for Merchant fulfilled orders?

Had a stealth account deactivated 90+ days ago. Waited for the disbursement date as there's $7500 still in the account and sent an email out to disbursement-appeals@amazon.ca and .com. Its been over a week now and they didn't respond to my email at all.
Is this is a typical wait time? Does anyone have ideas on how to get a response back? Never dealt with getting a disbursement before so not sure how it works or if I should just contact seller performance, jeff@amazon, etc.
Thoughts?
The reason they are asking for your suspension reason is to see if it was for fraud. If its fraud then Amazon can keep your money. They are not trying to offer you an appeal, we understand that's not what you need. Its to rule out the reasons your not getting a response. If it wasn't a fraud suspension, then its just amazon being amazon and not answering in a timely manner. Nothing you can do but to keep messaging.
